The City College/The City College of Acupuncture has a Duty Of Care for every Student/Staff/Patient/Visitor that enters the College premises.
The City College/The City College of Acupuncture Covid-19 Protocol & Procedures Policies have been established in compliance with government guidance, and those of the professional bodies BAAB and BAcC.
Being an educational establishment, and privately owned business, we have put in place Covid-19 Protocol & Procedures Policies as part of the risk assessment for reopening the building, with respect to regulatory bodies and insurance liability. Therefore, to remain open, our policies are non-negotiable from those using/visiting the College Premises.

Students are encouraged to test themselves at home before coming to the college to ensure they are symptom free. The rapid lateral flow tests are available for free to anyone wishing to take a test. Local pharmacies and GPs are able to provide the tests and they can also be ordered online using the following link:
https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests
Students can also book Rapid Covid-19 tests in advance, which provide results on the same day and are available to anyone who needs to leave their home for work or volunteering. This includes critical workers, carers, tradespeople and essential retail workers. We encourage frequent testing for people unable to work from home.
Appointments must be booked in advance: book a rapid test.
You can request support or raise a query via a centralised email service testandtrace@hackney.gov.uk, which directs queries to the relevant teams within the Council and the City of London Corporation.
If your query is out of office hours please contact PHE LCRC team on lcrc@phe.gov.uk or 0300 303 0450.
